Like an idiot I emailed Disney after they instituted the now-discontinued resort parking fees. I detailed all the reasons my family would likely never have started staying at the resorts if we had to pay so much extra each day to park a car.

I put a lot of effort into explaining that their current trajectory would have them losing young families.

A representative called the next day and kept going on about how we personally wouldn’t have to pay for parking because we were DVC.

I kept saying that wasn’t the point. Like talking to a wall.

There's a whole other thread about it, but my goodness they gotta crank the AC across the parks way more, I wouldn't go during the summer without a guarantee of some better relief

Living in Arkansas, high schools are seeing more rules of when and for how long they can practice in the summer using Wet Bulb Globe Temp which sounds a lot like what this measures (Sun angle, cloud cover, wind, in addition to temp and humidity). If they go down this road it could potentially lead them to having to close things down when it gets "too hot" similar to what they do for lightning in the area. It's almost better to have plausible deniability then to actually know how bad the conditions are. Either that or they'll just charge you extra to go in CoP or American Adventure during the hottest part of the day. Think of it as charging you to enjoy Air Conditioning
