Oooh would you be able to explain why you think it's more coherent by any chance? This isn't me challenging you haha I love hearing what people think of the old tower vs the new one
Of course - granted I may be in the minority on this opinion, but I prefer how the new ride doesn't have Rod Serling narrating throughout and none of the iconography from the main titles (like the door, the eyeball, the window smashing). I think it makes it feel more like a Twilight Zone episode and less like a general tribute to The Twilight Zone.

And I have no problem with a log flume, in fact i love water rides. I just am kinda iffy about building 2 of them in a row, beside each other for the new expansion around adventure bay and not mixing it up with a much different style attraction for the 2nd ride on the new expansion.
To me, if you are going the two water rides route, then why not go all in? Add a third. 20k revamped, Shanghai Crystal Grotto, TDS Rapunzel, anything. Just go full water themed, with the lake and the rides, make a little Paris DisneySea.

I would kill for a Paris update to Orlando.

We have the best Tower. It just needs a modernization.

More details on Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings:

Great news for Pixar fans: the planned family attraction inspired by the film Up, entitled Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, is set to open at Disney Adventure World in 2027! It will thus mark a new milestone in the transformation of the park and will complement the themed gardens of Adventure Way. We take a closer look at an attraction that promises to be as charming as it is nostalgic.

Located in Adventure Way, just opposite Raiponce Tangled Spin, construction of the future Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings attraction is well under way. The name references the Wilderness Explorers, the club of young adventurers thatRussell belongs to. In the attraction’s story, guests are invited to join this adventure and earn the ‘Aviation’ badge, immersing themselves in the world of the animated film Up and its unforgettable soundtrack, all while enjoying breathtaking viewsof the surrounding area.

This family-friendly experience will offer a new take on the ’flying chair carousel’, an iconic attraction in traditional theme parks for over a century. At Disneyland Paris, the carousel will offer 64 places on 48 chairs, with several ’duo’ chairsinviting guests to ride in pairs. As it spins, the dome above tilts, intensifying the feeling of flight and bringing dynamic movement to Adventure Way.

The attraction’s architecture, and in particular its line, will blend Art Nouveau and industrialtouches, such as wrought iron arches evoking characters from the film, as well as balloon and cloud motifs. In this way, Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings will fit seamlessly into the world of Adventure Way. In fact, at the top of the attraction, visitors will spy a golden spike representing Carl and Ellie’s famous house, echoing Pascal’s silhouette perched on the roof of Raiponce Tangled Spin!

The Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings will celebrate the adventurous spirit of Russell, Carl, Ellie, and other friends from Up. The queue, organised into four zones representing key moments from the film, will feature decorative banners and iconic props, including Carl’s childhood aviator helmet and goggles, as well as Ellie’s adventure book.
