Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

I find it truly astonishing how many people don’t understand Animal Kingdom. It’s a park about conservation and how humans interact with animals and nature in general. The Lion King is a fairy tale with animals so it doesn’t really fit into Animal Kingdom at all

WDS is now Disney IP land so it’s not like it doesn’t fit

Modern WDS doesn’t even feel like DHS anymore (though I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s better or worse)

Basically all studio parks are now IP lands too with a generic entrance with Hollywood style buildings. Even Disney Hollywood Studios or Universal Studios have very few things themed to be a proper studio. They are becoming parks where we pass from the world of one IP to another.

I would say that in the new Disney Adventure World everything is better organized than in Disney Hollywood Studios, where it seems that they have been dropping isolated themed lands wherever they had room. In DAW, as simple as it is, we have a generic area in the center, Marvel to the left, Pixar to the right and Disney classics at the back.

To be fair lion king in animal kingdom at least tries to play up the “circle of life aspect” of lion king considering circle of life is basically the unofficial theme song of animal kingdom

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

Well the whole premise of that show is a traveling group telling the story of the Lion King, so it’s still about the interaction between humans and animals.

Where so except for Better Zoogether and some of the Meet and Greets?
Let's start with Encanto and Indy.
And that's all I'm saying here as this is a DLP thread not an AK one.

Interesting to know that you seem to have experienced Tropical Americas already or how do you know that it won’t fit? Maybe let’s not jump to conclusions too quickly and give the expansion a chance before judging.
Mentioning Tropical Americas also makes no sense when claiming that "that ship sailed a long time ago" earlier.

I find the Lion King land in Paris amazing. I think it’s an excellent addition to Paris, but at the same time it feels like they took a piece of Animal Kingdom and dropped it into Hollywood Studios.
Did I pull a Rip van Winkle and sleep for a few years? I don't recall anything Lion King-related opening in Paris recently.

What even was your point to begin with? If you ask if there is a 3D rendering you should expect people to show you the existing 3D rendering …
A 3D model sitting inside WDI is not a 3D render. And calling the land of said 3D model "amazing" is more mental gymnastics than I have ability.

Carry on.
