Well seeing how Disney is deliberately making HWS its “thrill/teens” park to compete with Universal, Universal should also try appealing more to families. You know who makes parks that are good for families with little kids? Disney. Quite simply...Universal is not that.
Monsters and Stardust didn’t.Every attraction had a 100+ minute wait. It wasn’t that fun being there at that point.
Monsters and Stardust didn’t.
There’s no way you can justify not re-riding them—though maybe you did.
There’s also just no world in which you have to decide “I’m not exploring all the beautiful shops and restaurants and instead am just gonna waste my money” and leave. The park itself is worth just exploring and hanging out it. Sorry you weren’t able to truly appreciate it because there’s so much beauty I feel like you overlooked.

Ah that’s right. He said Stardust was closed.
As far as I know yes and for when the land is at max capacity and you get a return time.
If he did, he would know it's GSAT not GSTAT, and that he'd be in violation of the employee handbook, as well as potentially any NDAs he signed. Are you privy to this info?
That’s what I thought as that info is not readily available to the general public. If he did, he would know it's GSAT not GSTAT, and that he'd be in violation of the employee handbook, as well as potentially any NDAs he signed.
He's... not a reliable source of anything but AI generate regurgitations and his own opinions. That’s what I thought as that info is not readily available to the general public.
I roped dropped Epic, did every single ride in the park, and had many re-rides, plus a really nice dinner at Atlantic. Felt it needed a firework show, but the park feels like a step up from all the others in Orlando. The attention to detail and scale of said detail is only really comparable to Tokyo DisneySea.My visit to Epic was complete around 3PM too. Granted that was with Express, but I had done all major attractions and shows plus eating and relaxing in Celestial Park. That was with repeat rides on Ministry (I roped dropped), Monsters, and Wing Gliders as well. I have the same caveat, that Stardust was closed when I was there, but even with that I'm not sure I would've been compelled to stay late. With all this I felt I had gotten my money's worth
Easily could've gone to Epcot afterwards and had a great time![]()
Well not sure why you would disregard 50% of Epcot since it has food, shows, rides, and some of the best placemaking in theme park design.... And I'm not only looking for rides. I shop, do rides, go see shows, grab snacks, explore the detail of different lands and lots more. And as much as Future World was massacred over the last few years, I completely disagree with you that it feels empty - there's an entire aquarium, my favorite rides in the Land (plus a lovely lil show), single rider Test Track, plus my favorite ride at the resort (SSE, yes even in its current form). I don't need Guardians for a trip to Epcot to be enjoyableEPCOT, I was there recently, and without riding Guardians man the park feels so empty outside of World Showcase, but there’s basically like no rides (and some of the worst at WDW are at EPCOT like Nemo and Figment), so I don’t know how you could find more to do at EPCOT than Epic, if you’re only looking for rides.
No they shouldn’t. You aren’t successful by trying to emulate the competition. You differentiate yourself. They don’t need to be Disney. We already have Disney.Universal should also try appealing more to families.
We have discussed this wasn’t built specifically for epic. It was built for the Japanese market with Nintendo having a lot of control over the process. If you’re gonna make a kiddie ride that’s terrible like Yoshi with no appeal for anyone else, you need to let its target demos actuall
Tbh Epic feels pretty empty without Mario, How to Train Your Dragon, and Monsters Unleashed.I roped dropped Epic, did every single ride in the park, and had many re-rides, plus a really nice dinner at Atlantic. Felt it needed a firework show, but the park feels like a step up from all the others in Orlando. The attention to detail and scale of said detail is only really comparable to Tokyo DisneySea.
Was leisurely and action packed too. Didn’t feel rushed, I genuinely got to just enjoy the park as a “park.”
Got to explore every nook and cranny. Every detail I wanted to see I made a point to check out.
I could’ve spent another full day there, and given that a 1-day Epic ticket is MK priced, I couldn’t imagine just going to MK, and then just leaving mid-day. Like, for a longer trip or cheaper per-day passes sure, but blowing that much money and not even truly exploring the park, is a choice, even if it’s imperfect, nothing is flawless.
EPCOT, I was there recently, and without riding Guardians man the park feels so empty outside of World Showcase, but there’s basically like no rides (and some of the worst at WDW are at EPCOT like Nemo and Figment), so I don’t know how you could find more to do at EPCOT than Epic, if you’re only looking for rides.
I also think Express Pass is awesome obviously for the experience it’s obviously worth it if you have infinite money, but it’s not necessary for most people, as you showed, you probably could’ve just saved that money and flesh out your day.
It isn’t hard to use single rider for Ministry and Mario Kart either, which means 2/3 biggest waits are pretty reasonable.
I feel like people aren’t doing Epic right and that’s the perception gap with a ton of those who visit![]()
I talked to people who worked on Mario Kart. They were disappointed after Hollywood’s GSTAT came in. You don’t have to believe me, but deep down I know that posters here that do know this information know I’m not BSing. If he did, he would know it's GSAT not GSTAT, and that he'd be in violation of the employee handbook, as well as potentially any NDAs he signed.
Well the good news is you weren't accused of AI this time so win/win?I talked to people who worked on Mario Kart. They were disappointed after Hollywood’s GSTAT came in. You don’t have to believe me, but deep down I know that posters here that do know this information know I’m not BSing.
If I’m called out by one more poster for an effing typo I’m going to scream.
Just shows how other people are toxic, have no arguments themselves needing ad hominems instead, and so it reflects on them, not me.Well the good news is you weren't accused of AI this time so win/win?
They may or may not know that. But I know plenty to have been able to call you out beforeI talked to people who worked on Mario Kart. They were disappointed after Hollywood’s GSTAT came in. And it's GSAT, not GSTAT.

I’ve always used them interchangeably, never really thought about it, thanks for the correction. They may or may not know that. But I know plenty to have been able to call you out before
