I hope it’s not trash. But if it is…it’s actually the perfect nail on top of the box for this “era” closing…isn’t it?
Whys that?
lol I know that you know what I mean. So why don’t you tell me why you disagree?

The reason there’s no movies is not to “build anticipation”
It’s to let the cockroach scurry under the carpet in the dark
I’m not sure enough people even care?I didn’t say that was the reason but just because it wasn’t intentional doesn’t mean it won’t benefit from the fact that there hasnt been a Star Wars movie in theaters for 6 years.
Cf. StitchThe "oooh, isn't Grogu cute" thing seems totally played out. I can't imagine how they stir up half a billion dollars in box office based on that, at the point.

I definitely think that gets them an extra 20 or 30 million on opening weekend. I think it will have to be reviewed very well (beyond Grogu being cute) to be successful. What it does have going for it is timing. We haven’t had a Star Wars movie on the big screen in a while.
Wasn't seeing Stitch in live action something fans were curious and excited about? Grogu has just been on TV for three seasons for free, isn't that context different? If you ask a Mando/Grogu fan "what are you particularly excited about?" with regard to this movie, I do wonder what they say. I'm asking this earnestly.Cf. Stitch

And based on my history…I should be the absolute last person to say this.
The amount of brand erosion that has that has occurred is pretty hard to fully grasp
Yeah…not the lane your looking for here..I think between the fact that it’s been 6 years and the Baby Yoda factor it’ll be profitable based on that alone. How profitable will depend on the quality of the film. It has family movie written all over it.

Including the OG Star Wars creator to explain the prequel misgivingsStar Wars was never for six year olds
I know they say it everytime they fail to try and excuse it…but it was never so. Not ehh ethos.
…where it all beganIncluding the OG Star Wars creator to explain the prequel misgivings
That’s not the result you want for a Star Wars movieI’m not following

If the trailers don't improve, we are looking between The Clone Wars theatrical release and Solo. I really don't think it will better than Solo. KK has killed too much good will.I mean that’s the result they want for the show right? So why not the movie? So to be clear you don’t think it’s going to be profitable?
