Specifically, I would rather be addressed by a CM as Sir. My girls rather be called Princess.
Now we are called friends. That inclusion makes us excluded.
People don’t think this way.

We’re told they do so we dislike each other for things that either aren’t happening or aren’t important.

personally being called sir makes me feel old! (I don’t want to admit it - that’s why I’m a Disney errr theme park adult!)

But I don’t personally mind either. I kinda like friend cause it makes me feel “Disney” - like at chik-fil-a when they say my pleasure - it’s just a fun little “oh yeah I’m at a specific place, with a unique culture.”

Sorry to keep this going, I feel less Disney being called Friend, because I am called Friend at Universal too.

I, for one, am absolutely shocked they turned back on this thing they implemented so half-heartedly they didn't bother to check all their modes of transportation over the course of multiple years to make sure it was actually gone.

Next you'll be telling me Disney wasn't that ashamed of Splash Mountain just because they left Zip A Dee Doo Dah in five or so song loops around the resort and they still haven't removed every reference to the thing.

Hm...
It makes you realize the virtue signaling "stands" they make aren't actually important to them...that's the annoying part. They make a point to talk about doing something to appease a group, but their hearts aren't into it...particularly if it's inconvenient or costs money.

Removing it from like a parade announcement gets some headlines, upsets a bunch of people and pleases a few loud ones. Ladies and Gentlemen continues other places as well as scripts that don't fit the new style, so you're really just being a hypocrite if you try to make it sound like all your stuff is perfectly inclusive. Who cares.

I’m pretty sure this is only playing when the express monorail starts going "backwards" for the day, has anyone heard it on the normal routes? I think this was just a miss.

Are we talking about the announcements or CM’s addressing you individually?

If the later, it’s nice if they use non-gender terms so they don’t mis-gender a guest on accident.

Sorry if you mean the announcements.

Although if I hear “ladies and gentleman, boys and girls!” In the MK I’ll be sad if wishes doesn’t start! Good times.
We also live in the real world and we have centuries of pronouns of which cover 99.99% of people. If you feel misgendered and you look exactly like a man or woman (like humans have learned to identify through millions of years of evolution), you have to grow up and realize not everyone can participate in your world...and it's not out of hate. You're not the center of universe and you gotta suck it up and chill.

Sir and Ma'am are super respectful and it's not that deep. If you identify as something else, save it for people who actually know you. We all don't want to play this game because you might have a special name you want, which I'll be happy to call you if we are friends. Otherwise, don't expect it from strangers. It's unreasonable.

I’m fine with being called sir, but I’ve personally misgendered someone by accident and felt really bad about it. I try to use gender neutral terms when addressing people I don’t know.
The "hi friends" things gotta stop it’s just weird and feels patronizing
Hello sir can feel patronizing too…. It’s all in the tone! Haha

If a friendly cm is calling me sir or friend it doesn’t phase me in the least. Of course my favorite is when visiting Paris - “Bonsoir, monsieur”

That must be exhausting. Most nice hotels will you call you Sir. If you travel around the world, good luck with trying to get people to be neutral.
