Interesting that the main GC is not responsible for the entire scope of the project. I guess that is common for Disney’s projects?

Interesting, hopefully means quicker the construction the quicker we see progress. Personally more excited for the added nature stuff they're adding (like the trees, waterfalls, and SHADE) then I am for the actual rides

Looks like there were part of Sapphire falls (USO), Cabana Bay (USO) , Sesame Street (Seaworld), and Ice breaker (Seaworld)

Interesting piece of trivia about Balfour Beatty. When Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was being filmed in Sri Lanka, they found the gorge they wanted to use for the rope bridge scene. Balfour Beatty happened to be building a dam near by so they were hired to build the rope bridge.

They are pretty much the exclusive GC Disney uses for major projects.

GCs very rarely disclose the full extent of their project history on their website. Lots of stuff we can’t say that we built or aren’t interested in advertising or somewhere in between

They're a huge general contractor, probably one of the biggest in the US.

Balfour Beatty’s predecessor company in Florida was Frank J Rooney construction from Fort Lauderdale.
They built Cinderella’s Castle and most of the rest of the Magic Kingdom as well as of bunch of the original Epcot structures.
The buses they used to transport workers to the site show up in several of the “making of” Disney World books.
