Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

After reading your comments and those of others here, I'm convinced that all of our families are dysfunctional! ;)

Yea, at first I wasn’t gonna’ comment, but since others have commented, I’ll totally and vehemently disagree with that. Our family has been tight, although not always on the same path sometimes, but “dysfunctional” is in no way how I would describe my family…Not. Even. Close.
Life can be a crazy journey, but we’ve ALWAYS had each others backs, so to speak.
Sorry for those that haven’t had same.

Want to know my excitement for today? I ordered a bunch of Sterilite totes from Walmart to better organizer my classroom and get rid of all the clutter on top of the cubbies. 🤓

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I just watched an old episode of Night Court where Dan Fielding (John Larroquette) was upset about turning 40 years old…!!!!! :hilarious:
I had a strange conversation with someone yesterday. I was trying to figure out how old I’ll be in August.

I mean, I KNOW I’m currently 58, but my brain could not compute that I will be turning 59. I was literally counting on my fingers from 1967 … first the tens, then the single years.

What the actual heck?!?

My mother turned 60 in January.

Every few days, she tells me "God, I cannot believe I'm 60."

I tell her it could be worse; Dad is 66. Which makes her go "yeah you're right" and move on.

How far away is NYC to Metlife Stadium? Oh nevermind, 8 miles from Penn Station.

Anyway, Foxboro (or Boston as the World Cup is calling it) is $85 train ticket from Boston, $95 by bus and $150 for parking on top of single ticket already costing $1,000 plus. Not to mention the food prices will probably be going up to. I'm not an economist but I think people would call that price gouging.

Denial has a strange way of manifesting itself sometimes. I'll be turning 78 in July, but I do the math every few days just to see if I might have made a math error. This has been a long happening situation for a man that didn't believe he'd live to 30 until I actually reached 31. I guess I was off by a couple years. Now that I am close to making it to 30, three consecutive times it's getting harder to accept. That's the new goal and only 12 more years to make it. Who knows, stranger things have happened. Seems easy enough to make it to 90 and I think the key thing is to just not die!

Yea, I’m 63+ now and really don’t even keep track like I used to. I just wake up and I find I’m still breathing every day…so far…!!!!! 😅
And, speaking of birthdays, our Mom is 87 years old today…!!!!!!! :joyfull::inlove::happy:
Mom’s birthday is on tax day, and Pop’s is on January 1st, so there’s no excuse for forgetting either of those…!!!!! :hilarious:

You think a town manager would have other stuff to worry about but you would be wrong. God, the US is not going to make another 250 years.View attachment 916947
Taylor Swift having her wedding in one part (Watch Hill - on a peninsula) of this small town - which is a traffic nightmare on a "normal" summer day - is akin to a natural disaster. He should be worrying about it.

My grandfather will be 91 in August and my grandmother just turned 87; she will absolutely make it to 90 the way things are going.

(They are not married; this is two different sides).

Definitely not surprised about Granddad as this is one of our direct ancestors...

(What a proud family heritage...the first Americans to have to receive public assistance...🤣)
