Aww I'm too young to work. I'm 5 ft exactly and am blonde. I'll be in Disney the 23rd and got excited until I read you had to be 16. I'm 13 and always wanted to be Tink in the Disney Parks. Oh well, a few more years.... :(

I hate to be the one to ask the money question but here goes.... It said $11.25 hr. Is that the normal going rate for characters in the parks? I always thought face characters would be paid more than costume (even though the heat factor is much higher for the full costumes) Are stage performers at a much higher rate because of SAG or something like that.
I guess my Disney economics are way off, I know I have read many times that Disney doesn't pay really well, but I thought these types of jobs would be better.

Thanks to all who put on the magic for all of us..especially at these rates!:animwink:

I believe that is very good pay for a disney face character. Yes, stage are paid more i believe since they are out there for a whole show. Not totally sure but i think thats how the paying goes.

AEA (Actor's Equity Association) is the union for stage performers. SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) is for film and TV. Some (not all) of the CMs in the stage shows at WDW are Equity actors.

And don't they get a lot sweeter deals than non speaking stage roles?
