It hurts.

I find a judicious use of frying pans helps:angelic: Maybe not so much for the pain but for my mood:angelic:

The Artemis II mission has just been so exciting for me…!!!!!!! :joyfull:
I was pretty young, but I still remember when Apollo 11 landed on the moon, as it was a really big deal. My Pop had worked at the Redstone Arsenal/Marshall Space Flight Center, in Huntsville, Alabama, from ‘66-‘68, before he was hired by IBM and we moved to No Cal.
I know I’ve posted this before, but he once attended a lecture by Wernher von Braun about space exploration. Pretty cool stuff, to me anyway…!!!!!
I’ve always just loved the thought of space travel, and I love flying, in general…!!! :geek:

Gotta say, watching the "live" return to earth yesterday was a thrill. So glad it went smoothly. 😍

@donaldtoo , I completely forgot about the Mecum auction (ended yesterday, Houston). Glanced at some of the sales from the weekend - unfortunately, they don't list the buying price in the link below, but I kinda like this one! (The photos of the red interior are cool, too.)

You asked.
I'm booked at DL in a month (woohoo!) and am hoping to get the pain levels controlled enough to NOT need an ECV. I really don't wanna have the extra cost or hassle of one. I want to be able to just bring the cane. At Disneyland, there's so many stairs that you can request Return times if you can't do stairs, so my plan is to get return times and then go sit down for a while. I've been working super hard to get it mobile again; physical therapist said it had amazing movement for surgery a week prior.

But the pain needs to settle if so because damn.

Parts of the city I live in got flooded back to back nights and not done with heavy rain this week.

Before today, there already is 5.92 inches of rain this month and this is more than the normal average of 3.86 inches of rain for April.

Where I live in the city isn't flooded.
