Sand at WDW beaches

When they were digging out the Seven Seas Lagoon to build it, they found white sand underneath the ground and that's the sand that is at the Grand Flordian and Polynesian resorts. I'm not sure if that was used in other places, but that's what I heard for the beaches at those two resorts.

I read this in "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World" book that I have.

I believe I heard that the sand used in Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club came from Arizona. Not a real beach, but still interesting.

Nice to see a fellow Indycar fan on here. Sorry I have no input on the sand but giving a shout out to Indycarfan7. I am ready to Barber tomorrow.
