Does anybody remember when they release the calendar for the next season (26-27). I'm hoping to run the SS challenge with my son in 27 but the schedule depends on whether he's old enough. This would have to come out in the next few weeks, right?

Last year (current calendar) we got dates in 2 waves. October 2024 they released the dates for the 2025 Fall races DL Halloween Race Wknd and WDW Wine and Dine weekend.
Then Jan 7th, 2025 they released the whole 2025-2026 calendar dates.

So yeah, it would make sense to have the dates for the races out soon, if not for Marathon Weekend.

Does this company even market to men anymore?
The to the point answer is NO. Since this thread is about the Springtime Surprise races I will simply state I prefer the old Star Wars Dark Side / Light Side theme better that appealed to all kinds of fans, all ages and genders. The races are what they are, distance races, and as a runner it is enjoyable to run inside the Disney property. That said, the theming now does not lean toward the masculine.

I don't see how the themes for the races outside of Princess do not appeal to all ages, and genders. That statement makes no sense to me.

However, I will agree that merchandise does lack for men. That said, the vast majority of runners are female for every race weekend. It's always been that way for the most part.

Yet, the Star Wars races seemed to appeal to everyone and didn't lean more toward men or women. Please realize people are going to have different opinions and thoughts. Try to understand people have differing opinions.

I absolutely do understand differing opinions. My issue is with thinking that all the races are female focused when they are not.

Look at this year's Springtime.

Zootopia - neutral theme
Winnie the Pooh - neutral theme
Inside Out - neutral theme
Aladdin - this one could be debatable but Jasmine is not included in what they have shown just Genie and Aladdin.

Wine & Dine
Aristocats - this one could be debated I suppose as well
Three Caballeros - neutral
Mary Poppins - could be debated but probably leans female
Grumpy - neutral if not more male

Marathon Weekend - all seem pretty neutral to me
Pluto
Chip & Dale
Donald & Daisy
Mickey & Minnie
Goofy
Dopey

I am failing to see how outside of princess themes do not appeal to all ages, genders, etc. I am a huge Star Wars fan myself but that's more niche than what they have been doing with the other race weekends.

Does anyone know if the busses to the Expo will be running before the early access times for club rundisney members? The site just mentions 9:30 before general entry but early starts at 8:00.
