The construction for Villains Land is pretty far along?

Sorry for asking - my wife and I are going through a difficult time right now*. We're working throught it, but it's been affecting me. It's the hard part of relationships that rarely gets talked about.

*Whole Foods delivered two pounds of decaf coffee in this week's groceries.

Victim of a #StraightmaleInstacartshopper! 😂

My favorite was when I had stew beef on my list and they replaced it with the most expensive cut of filet mignon grade tenderloin, like I was just going to chuck that in an Instant Pot dump soup…

It's possible. I don't know.

Different folks on this forum have blueprints for every project that has them. I've not heard anything about Villains Land being available. That makes me think it's not at a point where they even know what they want to build. But I could be wrong.

It’s pretty far along AFAIK. Obviously it’s so far away things can change.

The designs for the land.

You've seen the designs for Villains Land?

Decaf is an affront to human dignity, borders on a human rights violation.

The amount of money they could make if they were to incorporate a hotel with a back entrance to beyond big thunder expansion would be insane (think Epic Universe Helios, Disneyland Paris Hotel, Mira Costa TDS, or Fantasy Springs hotel).

Add in a potential secondary exit from MK (busses to the TTC or other parks shared with the hotel), and it could relieve some of the pressure off main street.

Blue is potential beyond Big thunder, Red is potential hotel space with private entrance. Red area is ~3.5 million sq feet. For reference contemporary with parking lot, convention center, marina and Baylake tower, ect is ~2.1 million sq feet

Based on what we know from this new deposition, and in talking to WDI, I think these are the two best locations for the hotel.

You think it's the northern area (more Villain's land) or the southern area (Adventureland), or both?

If we move parking/convention center across Floridian way you can almost squeeze in both Yacht and Beach club with storm along bay.

North has better views.
Depending how the theme/how tall the assumed coaster queue/show building is... could have very good views

No
I mean, the recently opened Fantasy Springs hotel in Disney Sea should give them a pretty reasonable benchmark with regards to what they could expect from potential revenue/demand for such a hotel... right? One would imagine if that hotel is doing well, a similar hotel at MK would be a no brainer (though if the Fantasy Springs hotel is struggling, I could see that are reason to pause).

They can’t sell what rooms they Have

You want more timeshares? They can’t even sell those

This would be standard bob crap…not addressing the problems

???!???

they have constructed one rack hotel wing in 20 years…and it’s at a convention center

They also have been throwing out 25-40% discounts almost every day of the year

Do your research, please

Sorry I found the 2025 numbers. Discounts doesn't mean there isn't still demand... We know Disney makes bank on the hotels even with a discount.

Resort Occupancy is Up

Disney’s same 10-K filing that indicated domestic attendance was down also revealed that resort occupancy increased from 85% to 87% at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Discounts mean nothing. They’ve artificially inflated prices so you feel good about the discount, but the discounted rates are the actual rack rates.

On another note, I think it’s funny that many of us here were called a lot of things for merely suggesting that a hotel going into Villains would be a good idea and that it seemed to be something Disney was interested in.
