News New Space Mountain Coming to Tokyo Disneyland in 2027

Tokyo Disney Resort has shared a new aerial photo of Space Mountain:

Interesting, so it looks like it isn't entirely self-contained within the cone the way the previous versions were. That definitely makes planning easier.

Any thoughts or theories on an opening month for this? Am planning a Tokyo trip for end of may 27. With it being this far along in construction + still over a year to go, surely it won't open late 27? Though may might be a bit optimistic. Would hate to miss this.

Our train of thought is allow for over runs, previews, grand openings, snagging and initial crazy crowds. Just hoping they hold onto Adventureland long enough.

If you scroll back you’ll see the gravity building is around the same size. It’s the additional buildings on the new one that increase the size.
