What's the problem with just having a ceremony? It got a much needed facelift as a popular ride and they want to celebrate it.. that's literally it.So we’re ok with ceremonies on rides overdue for rehab opening back up?
…cool, cool
They reopened a 27-year old ride with some new updates. Where's the celebratory cupcake and popcorn bucket???

It’s low “mental rent”?What's the problem with just having a ceremony? It got a much needed facelift as a popular ride and they want to celebrate it.. that's literally it.
Yeah no one else would do that...
1. Eh, on all things, it's one of the least of my concerns if it gets them to refurbish things that need it and make a little spectacle out of itIt’s low “mental rent”?
…who said that?
Isn't this a bit over the top for what is supposed to be a routine extensive refurbishment of an attraction that opened in 1998 using a track that was built in 1972? Disney didn't use to publicize attractions simply re-opening from a major refurbishment like this. It used to be something you just expected to happen. Of course, it is HUGE now because now they let the things run into the ground without refurbishment until they are forced to for legal or other reasons.Disney has shared photos from the ribbon cutting ceremony:

When was the last time this attraction was refurbished and how many years were people on this board complaining about the dismal state of dis-repair the show building was in?This wasn’t a routine refurbishment.
And what legal reasons forced this project?
The lack of more frequent refurbishments doesn’t make this project a routine refurbishment. When was the last time this attraction was refurbished and how many years were people on this board complaining about the dismal state of dis-repair the show building was in?
Just the usual suspects looking for things to nitpick. What's the problem with just having a ceremony? It got a much needed facelift as a popular ride and they want to celebrate it.. that's literally it.
Yes. Next.So we’re ok with ceremonies on rides overdue for rehab opening back up?
…cool, cool
Why is that you are so anti any form of joy even when it’s as harmless as this and does not impact you in any tangible way? Why can’t the CMs coming back to their ride that’s been closed for months get a moment to celebrate getting back to it? Why is that wrong? They reopened a 27-year old ride with some new updates. Where's the celebratory cupcake and popcorn bucket???

There’s a very thin line between “anti joy” and “anti low standard immaturity”Why is that you are so anti any form of joy even when it’s as harmless as this and does not impact you in any tangible way? Why can’t the CMs coming back to their ride that’s been closed for months get a moment to celebrate getting back to it? Why is that wrong?
So once again you’re saying you are making things up and can’t answer/add anything of substance? When was the last time this attraction was refurbished and how many years were people on this board complaining about the dismal state of dis-repair the show building was in?
