Please send in your RSVP for the Cinderella Castle ribbon cutting, tentatively scheduled for April 17th at 7:30am.
Gonna be tough to get a peek standing behind all the podders and vloggers

It’s low “mental rent”?

…who said that?
1. Eh, on all things, it's one of the least of my concerns if it gets them to refurbish things that need it and make a little spectacle out of it 🤷‍♂️: Do it for Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, and Imagination as long as you fix their respective problems ;)

2. No one did, I'm just saying that it's not without precedent in the Florida theme park space. This does happen every so often

Isn't this a bit over the top for what is supposed to be a routine extensive refurbishment of an attraction that opened in 1998 using a track that was built in 1972? Disney didn't use to publicize attractions simply re-opening from a major refurbishment like this. It used to be something you just expected to happen. Of course, it is HUGE now because now they let the things run into the ground without refurbishment until they are forced to for legal or other reasons.

👆🏻

The praetorians will say: “it’s different now…”

That’s in no way an acceptable excuse or explanation. Diminished quality for higher fee is stupid. Period. It’s not “evolutionary”

This wasn’t a routine refurbishment.

And what legal reasons forced this project?

When was the last time this attraction was refurbished and how many years were people on this board complaining about the dismal state of dis-repair the show building was in?

They reopened a 27-year old ride with some new updates. Where's the celebratory cupcake and popcorn bucket???

"They keep inventing new ways to celebrate mediocrity" - Mr. Incredible
Why is that you are so anti any form of joy even when it’s as harmless as this and does not impact you in any tangible way? Why can’t the CMs coming back to their ride that’s been closed for months get a moment to celebrate getting back to it? Why is that wrong?

There’s a very thin line between “anti joy” and “anti low standard immaturity”

…I’ll hit the door now 🚪
