Spaceship Earth because of the sheer size of it... and the fact that you can walk right under it. Pretty overwhelming when its your first visit to Epcot of the vacation.

I just stand there, look at the hat, and say "Why?" It sure is mind-boggling. (PS - please don't respond with messages about why you think its there, we already have many of those threads). But really.

For me it's that last glimpse of the Castle as you leave MK before you go home always gives me a little lump in my throat and my mind goes into over ride as I try to work out how quickly we can come back:)

What I look at

Wow! I never really looked at the Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland that much, but it has a lot of cute details. The great size of Cinderalla's castle at WDW is like a real one! My favorite is Spaceship Earth sphere because it feels like something out of the future.:)

Which one of these things make your mind boggle? Makes you kept ur mouth dropping?

I chose other and that other is the end of Humga Cowabunga. It doesn't make my mind boggle but every once in awhile it makes my knees wobble.

Two piece, that's all I'll say.

jay-rod's picture.

oh, and summit plummet. some kid and i stared down the slide from the top for, like, 15 minutes. after awhile, i noticed he was gone and the cm was asking me to move on.

the only thing longer than the slide is the walk down the stairs.

hey, steve! i just noticed there's no smiley for shame.

I really have to say The Tree Of Life. I is just so beautiful!

One other thing has to be ToT. The first time I ever saw it was when we stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza on I-Drive about 6 years ago. It was the first time I had been with my then girlfriend (now wife). We were on the top (10th) floor of the highest building, looking over towards WDW. I was pointing things out "Thats The Contemporary, The Dolphin, Spaceship Earth, Earful Tower" then I was aksed "what's that?"
I couldn't make it out as I'd never seen it before. I turned on the camcorder, to zoom in a little so I could see it better, and said something along the lines of " Oh s**t it's the Toer Of Terror!!!!!" Seeing the beast for the first time from such a long way away was really mind boggling!

Yep, at the moment I'd have to agree - as soon as you see the castle you get filled with excitement - truly magical :slurp:

I would have to say, Spaceship Earth. While some of the others are quite inspiring such as the castle. And some are exquisite in their detail, such as ToT and ToL, I think Spaceship Earth wins it for me hands down because it is a true architectural marvel. There is no other structure on Earth, that even remotely matches it's design... Then you find out that this thing isn't just a big shell, that it actually hoses a ride and to me, that makes it all the more impressive.
