I would like to see Disney dig out a decent basement for this attraction so it doesn't loom so large over the park, but sadly I think those days are over, and would be deemed as an "unnecessary cost". I know Disneyland CA did it for their Space Mountain... I believe they did for Splash Mountain as well, if I recall correctly.

Isn’t the area around Tomorrowland already sunken? Hyperspace Mountain for example, the entrance is on the second floor and the load area is down on the first floor. Having a lower ground floor with the tower being shorter than the rest could improve the sightline issue.

It's going to use 1 basement level according to actual sources filed for construction.

Now this is interesting because they are REALLY referring to the new attractions as "pavilions". This kind of ties in the original concept of the attraction when first announced in D23 August 2024, when they literally noted "To ensure a better and brighter future for all mankind and the world, the most brilliant minds from the Avengers are working together and bringing new pavilions to the Stark Expo to showcase their most recent inventions and technologies.".

Maybe they are adding something like the hero training meet and greet in Paris. I know there's already one for iron Man, but maybe they are building bigger ones for other characters like Spider-man. Or maybe one pavilion for the ride, one for the store, one for snack and one for toilets haha.

I like HKDL's story for Stark Expo and the pavilions, which is much better than Avengers Campus (the "campus" feeling has been criticised by a lot of ppl).

Hyperspace Mountain is temporarily closing from Feb 24 until further notice. Now this is interesting. Usually, if they were to refurbish a major ride like this or FEA, they would have a specific date for the reopening. At the same time, its been 10 years since StarWars:TomorrowlandTakeover which is when Hyperspace Mountain debuted. Will HKDL finally get rid of the Star Wars theme..?

Don’t worry. Orbitron will reopen on February 15. For the past year that its been closed, Orbitron has been reactivated a few times without its top fittings and theming during crowded lark days.

Cosmic rewind’s show building is about the size of the entirety of Tomorrowland, there is no way that’s coming

No idea, if they were to re-theme space mountain, hopefully they will do an original story instead of something IP-based. Especially the fact that they are gonna "reposition" 1/2 of the current Tomorrowland as part of the new Stark Expo area.

I'm so interested in what the large PIXAR show building will actually house, i hope they announce it in the fisical year presentation or D23 in august. I believe it could be a larger scale of the Pixar journey thingy in SHDL? with a theatrical performance next to it..?
