Trip Report Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho it’s off to TR’ing we go!!

And I swear, before anyone thinks I’m biting off @wdisney9000’s title I’m not!! I had the title in my mind while I was on the plane. Imagine my surprise when I opened up this app & saw his latest!! I debated but it was hard enough for me to come up with that title much less pick another one. @wdisney9000 I hope you’re ok with this!! And more importantly now that I know we’re both here at the same time I hope we get to meet up again!!

Ok, here we go!!

Here’s the crew(in the elevator-interesting place for a pic) when we first arrived here an hour ago!!

Leaving cold, dreary Pittsburgh behind!!

In a much warmer climate!!

We have a 1BR in The Springs section. Literally right across the street from the main building. Perfect!!

Check out the new soap/lotions!!

We headed to bell services to pick up our groceries & when I looked at the app I saw that they canceled our order!! I placed it again & it should be delivered this evening. I don’t understand why but the silver lining is that I took off the hand soap now that Disney has liquid in the room. We normally always order a liquid one so it saved us a few bucks!!

Earlier this morning we took an Uber to meet E & H at The Boardwalk. We checked our luggage in at Bell Services with them. This way we could all Uber together to the airport when the dreaded time came.

We had planned to go to Epcot for a bit today but last night I was telling them how @wdisney9000 sings the praises of Bar Riva so we decided to check it out for ourselves!! I made sure to text him so he could remind me of what his favorites are so I knew what would be a sure bet there!!

He recommended the chicken tenders so R got them.

He also recommended the burger so E & I both got that. H mobile ordered a sandwich from next door.

The food was very good & I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our only gripe was that it took 40 minutes to get our food-& they weren’t busy!! I would definitely go back-thanks for the tips @wdisney9000!!

We got back to The Boardwalk & got drinks at The Cake Bake Shop.

Now we’re hanging out on The Boardwalk enjoying the absolutely beautiful weather before we have to leave!!

We can’t be too sad though-we’ll be back in 17 days!!

We’re at the airport now waiting on our plane to arrive. As it was last year for the Rick Springfield extravaganza J is not joining us. E & H flew down yesterday morning. R & I had a wedding to go to last night so we couldn’t leave until today.

E & H took the 5:00am flight & kept me updated on their events of the day. An early morning arrival at MK. Walked on some rides. Had to be towed back to shore on JC. Visits to Beak & Barrel and Trader Sam’s.

Their room was ready later in the day.

Since they are staying at The Boardwalk they made sure to get a dinner reservation at The Cake Bake Shop.

H & I really like the Angel Hair Pomodoro. She got the Chicken Piccata & said it’s a close second to that.

I’m excited to be joining them soon!!Maybe not to hear “Jessie’s Girl” over & over again but what can I do??

E & H did The La Cava Experience this morning & absolutely loved it!! I think I see that in my future!! They also hit Cake Bake for breakfast!! Too bad she doesn’t do TR’s-she could elaborate more!!

Absolutely LOVE the La Cava Experience; glad they enjoyed it. Also love the Ale & Compass! Can't believe I'd never been there before my last trip; definitely have to go back next year.

You’re never going to believe this. We only saw one show tonight!! R was the one who suggested it & who am I to say no!! In all fairness the show was very good. But, just like yesterday, very crowded!!

Absolutely LOVE the La Cava Experience; glad they enjoyed it. Also love the Ale & Compass! Can't believe I'd never been there before my last trip; definitely have to go back next year.

They really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to try it someday. Ale & Compass is so relaxing & quiet!!

I was woken up(& I by no means am a morning person) by a baby/kid next door that was screaming & crying for what felt like FOREVER!! And if that wasn’t bad enough then I had to contend with R’s infamous Bluetooth speaker & in todays playlist was none other than Rick Springfield!!

While he’s getting ready I’m outside trying to enjoy some quiet time but that’s not happening either. The landscaping crew is hard at work doing their thing!!

OMG, I finally got all caught up and after reading this post, I had to tell you how I can relate Patti!!! My DH brings his Sonos mini speaker when we travel to WDW so he can play his music in the morning and I just want peace and quiet being that there is always some type of noise (good or bad) the minute you walk out of your resort each day! Is it that we're getting older and enjoy the quiet more, maybe, but I think I've always felt this way! I love that you're getting Tune-in Lounge shirts to wear next trip, the bartender is going to love that!!! I seriously can't get over how much you all did over these past four days at WDW, it feels like it's a marathon trip! So glad to read that R didn't need to see all the Rick Springfield concerts each day and that you were able to spend more time with E, H and extended family. Safe travels home today and look forward to seeing ya real soon.

OMG, I finally got all caught up and after reading this post, I had to tell you how I can relate Patti!!! My DH brings his Sonos mini speaker when we travel to WDW so he can play his music in the morning and I just want peace and quiet being that there is always some type of noise (good or bad) the minute you walk out of your resort each day! Is it that we're getting older and enjoy the quiet more, maybe, but I think I've always felt this way! I love that you're getting Tune-in Lounge shirts to wear next trip, the bartender is going to love that!!! I seriously can't get over how much you all did over these past four days at WDW, it feels like it's a marathon trip! So glad to read that R didn't need to see all the Rick Springfield concerts each day and that you were able to spend more time with E, H and extended family. Safe travels home today and look forward to seeing ya real soon.

I think the theming is fun & I can see why it appeals to some people but I’m not one of them. I don’t feel relaxed there & it’s way too overstimulating for me. But, unfortunately by the time we went to book this trip Boardwalk was through the roof & R wanted to stay somewhere with Skyliner access so Pop it was.

It was busy but it was a lot of fun & having beautiful weather helped a lot!! I’m so grateful that it wasn’t like it was a few weeks ago!!

Can’t wait to see you too!!

I think the theming is fun & I can see why it appeals to some people but I’m not one of them. I don’t feel relaxed there & it’s way too overstimulating for me. I understand what you mean about Pop Century because the noise can be too much at times, but I always liked the room set-up there and the lobby was fun with the shadow boxes before they did the latest refurb and took away the charm! The food court and gift shop is great though! Hope your flight home was uneventful!
