Yes
Will make things REALLY interesting as it puts Universal over the proverbial barrel for a few key IPs like The Simpsons .

20th Century fox vs Universal Studios. Game on.

And here I was playing with the possibility of an Olaf + Scrat crossover short... Not that, that would remotely happen anyway.

Star Wars would be complete too. I honestly hope that Disney would sell off some of the items it is buying.
I’m not so sure because having extra content would bolster their upcoming streaming service.

Though I wonder if they’d try and make a deal with Universal on some of these IP’s that involved Disney getting Marvel’s theme park rights back.

Didn’t think of that. I doubt Universal would listen.

My guess- One of the first MCU films of Phase 4 is Disney’s take on Fantastic 4. So far, the only two films announced are Spider-Man 2 (or whatever they call it) and Guardians 3. I’m assuming sequels to Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel will also be debuting in 2020 and 2021, but I think it’s entirely plausible for Fantastic 4 (the fourth film in the series, unless you count the 1990 version) to come out in 2020 after Guardians 3.

X-Men is going to take awhile to get sorted out since Fox has 2 or 3 coming out in 2018 (all I know about are Deadpool 2 and Dark Phoenix, not sure if New Mutants ever started filming). With F4, Disney can start from scratch. Idk if Disney wants the whole complicated mutant family yet, or if they’ll wait a few years to debut a new movie with an entirely new cast.

I stand corrected, New Mutants is in post-production.
X-men films for 2018:

New Mutants- April
Deadpool 2- June
Dark Phoenix- November

Honestly it looks like the one movie that could be affected the most is Gambit, since it’s still in pre-production. Sorry, Channing Tatum.
