First Timer - Hotel Suggestions for Cruise Eve (Florida)

My wife, daughter, and I are going on our first cruise in May. We plan on driving down over the course of two days to break up the trip.

I'd like for us to stay in a hotel in the Port Canaveral area the night before we depart. Any suggestions?

It doesn't have to be fancy, just looking for something clean with good service for a reasonable price.

When I did so, I stayed at the Comfort Inn, which fits your description - nothing fancy. I believe my review was "serviceable"

Did a quick search though, and it looks like there is no longer a Comfort Inn in Port Canaveral.

It was several years ago, but we stayed at a Hampton Inn. It was clean and decent for a 1-night stay. I also often see reports of people staying at Country Inn & Suites, Radisson Resort at the Port or Best Western. There are several hotels in the area; they may be listed as "Cocoa Beach" instead of "Port Canaveral" as location.
