We discussed this back in June, but it can never be said enough. The turkey legs have got to be the most disgusting food items at WDW! Even now when I think of all those people gnawing off chunks of flesh and bone, grease dripping down their chins, chomping with maws agape.......it makes me queasy...yuck!!!

No, just the people who walk around chomping on those gross turkey legs! (let me restate this, we need a "retching" emoticon on this board!)

I haven't had a turkey leg yet, though I would like to try one. At first they looked disgusting but now, I think I'll try one when I go down.

Theyre great........they taste like red meat more than turkey! Seriously though theyre delicious.......marcia, I can see how seeing everyone walkin around slobbering all over juicy(not greasy!) legs of turkeys can be unsettling but they arte delicious and ya cant blame ppl for slobbering over such yummy food!

I'm not disputing their taste, just their appearance! ;)

I hear you Marcia. It does seem sort of strange to see someone who has wondered over to Fantasyland walking around with a big hunk of meat on a bone.. Makes me think they should sell plastic clubs and Fred Flinstone tops. (oops! that would be Universal, sorry!) Considering how many people seem to like them (there is always a line at the stand) I don't think they will be getting rid of them anytime soon but I feel sorry for all those poor turkeys in wheelchairs just the same :( ;)
