Does anyone else think Galaxy’s Edge is a misfire?

Having only been to SW:GE once, the same year it opened, the only part that really hit for me was Smuggler's Run-not because of the execution of the ride system, or the setting/story used, but because of the Falcon replica out front, and walking thru/standing in the very familiar tunnels/central room of the Falcon, sitting in the pilot chair in the cockpit and hitting the hyperspace controls. But, the reason that was so great for me was 100% because of the OT, and my childhood growing up during the OT original releases, and my memories of spending hours when I was 10 dreaming of flying the Falcon. The rest of the land did not connect with me nearly as much as that (I should point out that I was there about 2 months before ROTR opened, so that might be skewing my opinion somewhat).

Bringing Han Solo to Galaxy’s Edge is awesome!!

Hopefully they bring in Luke from Episode 6 and Padmé from Episode 2 next. Leia as Princess Leia from Episode 4 or Slave Leia from Episode 6 would be neat too. Jawas are even more obvious.

Come to think of it, why can’t we meet like Darth Vader, Darth Sideous, Obi-Wan, Darth Maul, or Mace Windu? Like, hooy.

I cannot wait until they do this to HWS.

Personally I would have included a stage show centered around the Christmas Special.

Because. Why not?
They legitimately need to have Star Wars Hoopla back.

I wouldn’t want it like throughout the day, but there’s zero reasons they couldn’t bring back Star Wars Weekends and do it there.

They also need the dinner show, a permanent indoor meet and greet, to retheme Rise to the OT and/or Clone Wars, some land AAs (maybe Ewoks in the berm on the North end of the land?), more vegetation, and an E-ticket rollercoaster as good as Hagrid’s or Cosmic Rewind.

Maybe that’ll be what the park gets next after Monstropolis instead of a new land, who knows.

It’d be insane if they didn’t do it in the 2030s at least.

How can they have a young Han Solo walking around a land but not have Jedi Training? And where Rey walks about? Just get Luke, Leia and Vader and be done with it.
I'm confused...I thought Jedi Training was - per Disney's latest shows- a bad thing.

Something about how they take children away from/rob them of their cultural heritage?

I mean this not as a quote of you per say, but more that I stopped watching the D+ shows part way through Ahsoka. I watched a little of Acolyte, but it was really bad. Saw a little of the cartoons...

Mostly, I just lost interest.

Can someone please give me the Cliff Notes version? Are the Jedi back to being the good guys?

I just meant that the reason often given for not having Jedi Training in GE was because it was not canon.

So how can it be canon to have Han Solo wandering around, looking younger than he did in Ep 4?
