Disney's Lack Of.. Rides

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
NYE + MK = Madness

We did MK on NYE once and also Epcot on the eve of the new Millenium, another unforgettable evening. 'I see masses of moody people' moments.

And even though I don't envy the crowds you are enduring, I'd love to be in a park, any park right now vs the 19 degrees it is here now. Happy New Year!

New Years as been Horrible in the Magic Kingdom.. Little Mermaid was closed down and I have been standing in line for Buzz Space Ranger Spin for over an hour when the line said 30 minutes and got stuck for 20 minutes

Well.. depending on how many fastpasses they printed out, the standby line may be 30 minutes, but if 200 people with fastpasses come in (yes, I'm exaggerating), your wait just got longer.

Oh yeah, and on the website that ranks the weeks, this is the absolute worst time to be there.

There are just a heck of a lot of people there! Test Track's wait was up to 300 minutes today!!!

OK, you made me laugh and spit wine at my laptop.

Bet you are providing information she/he is keenly aware of. ;)

I'd still rather be there than here, 74 degrees, my friend just landed, so jealous.

I wasn't giving information, saying a useless statement. Sorry :(

I've got to admit this is why we go in October even during the food and wine festival if we see a line we walk away and every time we go back we can walk into a ride. LOVE the fall in WDW. Still it would be nice to have 70 degrees and not ice on my driveway.

Busiest time of year. I am planning to go down someday over the holidays but to mostly see the decorations ( parks and resorts) and parades not to ride the rides. PS this will be a child free vacation.

We went to Epcot last night, got there for about 21:30, waited no longer than 10 minutes for Spaceship Earth, walked on to Journey into Imagination with Figment then Captain EO and finally El Rio with again pretty much walk on lines before getting a spot in front of Canada for NYE celebrations. If you pick your attractions wisely you can get alot done.
