Why does WDW receive Soarin' Across America in May but we have to wait until July? It's just a movie.

I think it’s to spread out the new offerings since Mando opens on 5/21 at DL. DL/DCA are one park for all intents and purposes unlike Epcot and DHS at WDW. Also, there seems to be an initiative at DLR to boost summer attendance this year.

I am really hoping for the best with ‘Soarin’ Over America’, but it has a tough act to follow.

The original ‘Soarin’ Over California’ is going to be hard to beat as it is pretty special…and Jerry Goldsmith’s score is absolutely beautiful and fits the film perfectly.
No topping the audio.

‘World’ can leave tomorrow and I would not miss it one bit.

I'm still waiting to see how they handle most of the Mid West and South. There will of course be the obligatory skyline shots of Chicago, maybe the St. Louis Gateway Arch (through it would be cool!), and flyovers of the most productive and fertile farmland in the world tended by great Americans with reapers and tractors rumbling below you. But then what?

It's flat out there. Really flat. I've driven coast to coast in both directions over a half dozen times on Interstates 10 through 90.

It's mainly flat. 🤔

While we wait for Soarin' Over America, I saw this today and thought it was adorable!

About 75 miles west of Washington DC where spring is finally coming to life after an unusually cold winter, a Bald Eagle husband and wife just had their first chicks in their nest!

Mom and Dad are already proving to be doting parents to these brand new America 250 Bald Eagles! 😍 🇺🇸

While visiting Pigeon Forge over Spring Break, I got to experience SkyFly: Soar America, which to me is the best template for what I'd want Soarin' over Murrica to be. In addition to fitting the brief, this is easily the best non-SOC flying theater I've ever done.

Of course, the Disney version won't be able to match the length, and it seemed to be weirdly in standard definition for such a new attraction, but they could do worse than to steal from this.

I demand that the scent of wheat gets puffed at you during the scene with reapers in the field.

My daughter with Celiac disease wouldn't be able to ride, of course, but IMMERSION!
