Disney World Early Summer Discount Question

WDW has just posted the discount for early summer, why is the Little Mermaid section of the AOA not listed with the discounts. Just wanting some explanation. Plus did anyone notice the price differences this year for the hotels. The POP is less than the All Stars, and the CBR is just 200.00 more than the all stars. It was 400.00 more last year.

More than likely because it is meeting or exceeding booking projections. You don't put an item on sale that you can sell at full price.

No. The Little Mermaid Rooms are incredibly popular for those wanting to stay at the resort, but not needing a suite.

I DID notice that about the CBR!! I was pricing out trips and it was cheaper to stay at the CBR then the All Star!!

CBR is starting to become the least popular resort moderate. There are still people that love it, but now that all the others have better layouts, better dining options and more importantly, queen size beds, the appeal of CBR has fallen.

Reading all of this backwards....

Paying attention to the Hotels that ARE on the Discount List will give one a pretty good idea of which properties are just a bit in the pits . For example - AKL has been at the highest discount level for about the last 2 years of offers.

Which I just don't get. AKL is my favorite resort. Great grounds, best restaurants on property, etc. About the only downside is a possible long walk to your room and about an extra 5 minutes of travel time to the parks.
