Low frame rate. I'm not sure where the trend started (I'm assuming in anime), but it's a hallmark of the Lego Movies (to mimic stop motion), a key feature of the action sequences in the 2022 Puss in Boots movie, and made popular in the Spider-Verse Movies (to evoke comic book frames, maybe?).
Now, I see the style used all the time. The DisneyJr. Playdate with Winnie the Pooh series uses it heavily.

I think it’s an attempt to mimmic the movement and feel of 2D animation but with 3D assets. Could possibly be a response to growing criticism from parents and pediatricians both that a lot of modern children’s animation is too fast moving and overstimulating.

Yeah, I suspect that's a good part of it. But these seem even more (deliberately) jerky than the old hand-drawn stuff ever did. I watched a YouTube video that claimed slowing the frame rate creates a feeling of speed.
One of the most pronounced usages of low frame rate I've seen recently was in the Academy Award-nominated FOREVERGREEN.
