So we are set to fly out Nov. 15th!!! Can't wait!!!! My in laws are coming along, both however just had to have Surgery, one rotator cuff, one meniscus knee!!! We are staying at The CS. I know this is a rather large resort, what might the chances be I ask for rooms close to the restaurants & bus stops that I would get them?? We would like to be next to each other. In our package we got standard rooms, are there any chances they might upgrade us if we were to ask????

Do exactly what @Buzz2001 says. I have travelled with someone with mobility issues before. I had not made the reservations so no mention was made of it at booking I discovered. This was at AKL. Upon arrival we got stuck in rooms far from everything, so I was able to talk with a CM who moved us closer. I found them to be very helpful, but the resort was not 100% booked. Given that Buzz says your resort is sold out, definitely contact them and stress the medical need. I would imagine they will do their best to accommodate you.

I'd also suggest you change your request/expectation of being "next to each other" to being "near each other". If you're less restrictive on the non-necessary requests (like being next to each other), it gives you a better chance of getting was *is* necessary (location).
