I thought I had seen the most open-ended final prompt ever, but I suppose this takes the cake. Certainly not my strength: whittling down from infinity.Imagineering Expedition #10

Let's that again. Try what again? Yeah, that
--What you need to know--
![]()
We have all had projects that have felt unsatisfying for whatever reason. Maybe you just didn't have the time to execute the plans you made because work/school got in the way so you had to rush it. Perhaps your team had a different vision than you had and it might have turned out amazing, but it wasn't what you hoped. Possibly the deadline was Tuesday and you turned something in, but then Wednesday you had the perfect idea! Maybe the only real issue is that you wanted to write a full pitch but you were playing the one sentence competition. What if you had the perfect idea for a prompt, but you only saw the prompt now looking at old projects and the game it is from ended 5 years ago...
![]()
So, let's try that again
--The Prompt--
![]()
Pitch a New take on a previous prompt from this game or from any other Imagineering competition
You can redo any prompt from any game ever. Big or small. Just keep in mind that this is a solo round, there are no extensions outside of emergencies, and you only have a week. So, try not to bite off more than you can chew.
Also, the nature of this prompt involving revisiting old prompts might lead to new projects that build off of the old writing/brainstorming of other imagineers. You must make it very clear if any elements of your final project come from other imagineers in the past and what those elements are. This is meant to show off your skill and I can't give you credit now for something @spacemt354 did in 2016. Feel free to build off of what you project you are redoing, just keep your new work as the focus!
Lastly, please link the original prompt if it isn't from this game. Less of a rule and more just to make it easier to find.

This is a Solo Round. Each of the Final 4 are responsible for their own project. With it being a solo project, I will not be judging on detail. It doesn't matter if you have 1 sentence or 100 pages as long as your pitch is properly communicated. Sometimes less is more, sometimes more is more.
There will be one winner at the end of this round
--When is it due?--
This project is due Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 11:59 pm Universal Hollywood Time
(3 am WDW Time, 2 am Six Flags over Texas Time, 5 pm the next day Tokyo Disneyland Time)
Can always follow Bee's suggestion and default to a Channel Awesome/Nostalgie Critic attraction!I thought I had seen the most open-ended final prompt ever, but I suppose this takes the cake. Certainly not my strength: whittling down from infinity.
Well, I think I have settled. Sometimes you have to go back to where it all started! Can always follow Bee's suggestion and default to a Channel Awesome/Nostalgie Critic attraction!![]()
Sir, it seems we have the same projectExcited to see what the other finalists have come up with. I've given a Tiki-style hint. I may be able to submit on Monday.
That's very funny considering what I'm going withSir, it seems we have the same project
I've created a full park map and I'm not afraid to use itThat's very funny considering what I'm going with
Correction: Outbound could win with a benchOutbound could win with a walk-through attraction
Well you asked for it. Here’s my final submission.
The California Adventure Bench add an exciting new feature to the often-overlooked Disney’s California Adventure Park. Now, no one will focus on the more popular Disneyland Park. Instead they will ask, “yo, what the hell is up with that 1,000ft high big bench nextdoor?” It will be visible from miles away and add a new landmark to Orange County. The bench also provides critical shade from the hot California sun, with Radiator Springs now in permanent overcast. Unfortunately, the holes and curvature of the bench means the very few times it rains in Southern California the rain will all funnel into dangerous falls; guests should avoid these areas as they sign waivers prior to entry protecting the Walt Disney Company from liability to the bench.
There is currently no way to access the top of the bench but if visitors happen to be tall enough they are welcome to go up there, otherwise we will be looking to put in an elevator or two at some later date, but the company is already going bankrupt with the stocks right now from investing in a giant bench so that update is delayed. More details to follow!

--The Set Up--
I stole Dreamfinder's Ship with the intention of taking some of the best Armchair Imagineers in the world on a joyride making amazing things! And when they said no, I grabbed you guys!
![]()
But seriously, you all are an amazing group of incredibly talented people! And I can't wait to see what you can all create! In this competition, our goal is to dream big!
There is a type of armchair imagineering project seen pretty often known as a "Dream Park." Essentially, it is taking the concept of a castle park and making a new one from scratch! Some of these are solo projects, some are group projects. Some are more realistic, some are more blue sky. Some are very self indulgent, some are only mildly self indulgent
Dream Parks can be an incredibly fun and interesting creative challenge. One of the best ways to dream big! But a full dream park may be dreaming a bit too big for the very first scene. But just a single land on the other hand...
--The Challenge--
Imagineers, your challenge has two parts.
First, you must decide where your dream park will be located. It can be any place real or fictional in any time period. Have you ever wanted something fully blue sky like a Disneyland Westeros or Disneyland Liberty City? Now's your chance! Alternatively, you guys can go more grounded and do a real world location.
The second, and most important, part of the challenge is to design a single land for your dream park. It must be a version of or an evolution of a land already found in a real life castle park. But you can feel free to do something really different with the basic concepts of these lands. Especially if you choose a more over the top location for your park.
--All for One: Group Based Project--
This Scene will be an All for One: Group Based Project. Meaning your whole team will work all together to create one project.
--Reward Round--
At the end of this round, the winning team will get a reward! It will be a small advantage for Scene 2. Since this is a reward round, no one will be eliminated.
--A Note on Judging--
With the nature of this challenge, realism of the location you choose is not really a huge concern. Obviously building a Disneyland in 1920s New York City, Neverland, or on the Death Star is not a realistic project.
Where realism of your location does come into play is how your land itself fits the culture/time period you choose.
What technology is or is not available? If you use a Disney IP that doesn't exist in that universe or time period, did you do a good job of making it accessible to the people there despite not knowing the story? Do you take into account what the people in that area and/or time period would appreciate (China doesn't like ghosts for example)?
Again, realism of the location you choose is not a main concern this round.
The land itself is the focus.

Alright, Teams. Have fun! Go Create! Dream Big!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to design a seventh Disney Cruise Ship… which will be the first “themed” of the fleet.
