Boathouse

We ate at the Boathouse on August 20th- one of the best meals we had during our whole trip. I got the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, my husband got the Fish Tacos, and we shared the red skin potatoes as a side. Best crab cake I've ever eaten- good flavor and almost no filler, just flaky delicious crab. The potatoes were also good. My son got the Macaroni and cheese. I tried a couple bites and it was very creamy and tasty- made me wish I'd ordered the lobster mac and cheese instead of the crab cake. We skipped dessert because we were planning to try the new Gelato place but a monsoon forced us to make a mad dash to the buses instead.

Last month when I went to Downtown Disney I looked at their menu and thought it was crazy. $29 for a Lobster Roll is nuts because I can get two Lobster Rolls at the Boardwalk Bakery for $16.29 each.

And while the lobster roll at Boathouse is very good, Boardwalk Bakery's are just as good, if not better, especially at that price point. I mainly just wanted to dine at least once at Boathouse during my trip. I'd definitely go back, but would order something else.
