Beat standard room/building at Pop

I will be heading down to Pop in late February. It will just be me, so I don't need a preferred room. What is the best room/building to request in the standard category?

I really enjoyed 50s lake side. The view of AoA was great and it was nice and quiet. It wasn't very far to the food court or the buses.

I think the rooms are all the same except for the picture on the wall. I don't remember thinking any of them were different, anyway. At first, I liked 80s best...because its my decade. IMO, it is the best decade....but I digress.

You should just choose the decade you are most interested in and request that.

And remember, wishes aren't always granted, so you might ask for 90s and get 70s. Prepare to enjoy what you get. That's my motto.

We liked 70s. Close to main building with food court and close to parking lot.

We liked the 50s facing the lake. Choose the rooms closer to the bridge. Beautiful view, close to the food court and you do not have to pay for a premiere room like the 60s.

Same here. Always liked 4th floor 70's, close to things and quiet.

50s or 70s

We were in the 70s the last time we stayed at Pop and it was a straight shot to the food court. Worked out great!

I like any except the 90s, Have only stayed in the 50s though.

I like the 90s because of its proximity to everything. Close to a parking lot if you're driving, close to the bus stops as well as the food court.

We love the 50's. Quit pool near by and not far from the front.

As I guess you've figured out by now,that there is something positive to say about any of the buildings at Pop Century. Different people like different areas of the resort. I'm sure you will be happy any place you stay at Pop!
