I was thinking it would be nice to head over to the Boardwalk for dinner during our full Epcot day during the upcoming trip. I've read some pretty mixed things about Kouzzina and thought I'd go to you guys for your thoughts. I made a reservation for 7pm because it looks like Illuminations will happen at 9pm in January.

What do you think of Kouzzina if you've been there?
And do you have advice on where to stand for Illuminations?

We love Kouzzina for dinner, and the atmosphere at the Boardwalk at night is fantastic. The food is Mediterranean with a twist, service has always been very good but not exceptional and is fairly easy to get reservations but I expect that is because the dining room is quite large compared to many Disney TS locations.

I love Kouzzina! The Pastitsio was awesome. It's so rich, cheesey & delicious.

The steak is probably the best on property.

The Baklava & Chocolate Budino Cake are great.

Great atmosphere and not as hectic feeling as most WDW restaurants.

We just tried Kouzzina dinner for the first time. We liked it, but did not love it. I still think it's worth a try since there are so many options on the menu and what I may have only liked, you may love...or what didn't interest me on the menu might be totally you. It is a nice atmosphere and the service is very good.

We really enjoyed Kouzzina! We have only been there once, but I'm looking forward to eating there again. We tried the sampler appetizer, which was excellent. I had the Kouzzina Trio for dinner, my wife had the Fisherman's stew. I really liked the different Greek beers they had.

As far as Illuminations, one of our favorite places to watch is from the area below the bridge near France. Its right next to the area where the boats for the private viewing cruises park.

My advice is not where to STAND for IllumiNations but where to SIT -- in the Rose & Crown Pub while enjoying your dinner! Best view of the fireworks around plus no need to stand and reserve a spot in advance.
