Any idea when reservations will open for the new Jungle Cruise restaurant?

I heard about the new Jungle Cruise restaurant and that it would be open in the Fall. I'm going to WDW the end of January and wondered when I could try for a reservation for this new restaurant. Anybody know that answer? Or how I could find out?

Also, two different sites have conflicting information. One says that the restaurant will be table service only. The other says that the restaurant will be like Be Our Guest restaurant where lunch is Quick Serve and dinner is Table Service. Any idea which piece of information is right?

hmmmm.....I read that as they will be serving lunch, and a table service dinner. The Disney food blog says that it is rumored to be like BOG is operating, and the Disney parks blog says that information hasn't been released yet. So it will be interesting to see.

I have also read that park operations hate the dual-mode BOG so I think they might be going for something simpler this time. Also if the main theme of the restaurant is the "show" of your waiter being a Skipper (similar to Prime Time Cafe being your aunt) then it makes more sense to be table service only so you get the experiance of being served by a skipper every time.

I agree, and would prefer that it be table service, I feel that is something that the MK is seriously lacking. Here's hoping :)

The news article on here suggests table service at lunch and dinner was the information at D23 http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/skip...dventureland-veranda-at-the-magic-kingdom.htm
This is one of the articles that I had read. Then another article (I can't remember which one) talked of the possibility of being similar to BOG with QS lunch and TS dinner.

My opinion? I think the mix of QS and TS for a restaurant would be a successful business choice. I am going on my logical sense and have no statistics to back me.

Sitting down to a bigger meal (from a TS restaurant) sounds more appealing to me at the end of most of the day at the parks than mid-day. Magic kingdom's peak times are mid-day and QS is needed in the area. Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbour House are packed at lunch time.

I hope the restaurant is both QS and TS.

As far as I know it is table service only. The capacity just isn't there for quick service, it only seats about 200 guests.

Soft opening is expected end of 2015, with official opening in 2016. So don't look for ADRs until at least January.
