Another Annual Pass Question...

I am currently booked for a trip in April with a 6 day park hopper pass. There are 4 of us booked with the package deal. I have the opportunity to be in Disney next week for a couple of days. I am thinking about getting an annual pass that I will use for the 2/3 days next week and then use it for our trip in April. I called Disney and asked if I could then save the ticket from the package deal to use at a later date. The CM I spoke to indicated that I can roll the April ticket into an annual pass next week. This doesn't sound right. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Yes you can. I applied a 5 day hopper to my AP purchase.

You cannot roll it in to an upgrade. If you were upgrading during the package trip, yes. But not before it.

You *can* save the package ticket to use at a later date. But when you're starting the trip in April, stop by avpark Guest Relations before your first park entrance to double check that the AP is "first priority" on your account. It should be automatic, but better to take a couple minutes and make sure.

Thank you so much for this response. I did not think that I could roll a park ticket into an AP a month before the trip. I was surprised when the CM told me I could do this. I even reiterated to her that I was going before the package ticket. I will probably still buy the AP and save the ticket from the package for my AP renewal next year. (I was actually hoping you would reply!).

So you rolled a future 5-day hopper into an AP before your trip? I've rolled packaged tickets into an AP on the last day of our trip but never before we even left for the trip.
I did it on the first day of the trip but the cast member said I could have done it over the phone before leaving. I preferred to do it in person.
