Did you actually have it work? When I went in July they were only running a bare minimum of cars and half the guns in our car didn't work (literally two of them had bags over them). Throw in a ridiculously bad operation (preshow not being utilized, they were treating the single rider line like a fast lane for some odd reason), and I hated every second of that ride.Battle for Metropolis is the best shooter ride in the state. It is far better than Buzz Lightyear or even the crappy Spider-Man ride.
As a working ride, it is far superior to Buzz. Back in the days when I went to MM, it worked all the time. They used the preshow and kept people outside. I can't talk about the last six months or so. MM maintenance is not the best but neither is Disneyland's. Hopefully with the two year park upgrade they are starting they will put it back together again.Did you actually have it work? Better than 90's Buzz and Disney's notorious nothing burger of a Spider-Man attraction?Battle for Metropolis is the best shooter ride in the state. It is far better than Buzz Lightyear or even the crappy Spider-Man ride.
I haven’t been to Magic Mountain in years but from what I remember I think I’d lean towards this view, with one caveat. I found the screen based animation lacking.Battle for Metropolis is the best shooter ride in the state. It is far better than Buzz Lightyear or even the crappy Spider-Man ride.
In my opinion, this is false. When I rode Battle for Metropolis (Both Magic Mountain and Over Texas), none of the effects worked, and there is barely any physical theming. In my opinion, Buzz Lightyear is the best interactive shooter ride in the entire state, mainly because of how well themed it is, and how charming and nostalgic it is.Battle for Metropolis is the best shooter ride in the state. Midway Mania is far better than Buzz. And this is coming from someone who hates screens and love practical. Buzz would be better if they took away the shooter aspect. Take the ugly diamonds off the figures and set pieces and just do a darkride. In my opinion, this is false.
