...Worth the price of admission? We're looking for opinions, good, bad or otherwise as we're trying to decide which, if any, of the Grand Gathering get togethers, are something we might wanna give a go.

You are so right. But, with a family of 5, we really didn't wanna participate in the SWA Cattle Call Olympics. So, we ended up on AirTran Airways outa Midway & Ted on our return trip in O'Hare. One advantage of having more than 1 major airport to choose from I 'spose. :cool:

So, we decided to roll the bones when we booked our Grand Gathering back in October. Everyone else, booked their air through WDW. I thought we could do better & chose not to. :brick: Then ATA, our cutrate airline of choice, dropped their service to Orlando outa Midway after April 1st. :(...

I'm Sure... ...Y'all a right. I'm probably being more paranoid than I need to be. :) I've always brought it on business trips. But, I never had occasion to leave it in my room.

...As much as we wanna detach from reality, we're also thinking about bringing a laptop along. We're staying at POR. Any ideas / hints on what we can do to secure the laptop while we're enjoying the magic?

We are 5. Staying in a Deluxe, or 2 rooms at a Moderate, isn't even a consideration. What other Moderates besides POR offer a trundle? Don't get me wrong, we loved it there. But, it'd be cool if one, or more, of the other Moderates offered a trundle.

All right all y'all seasoned WDW travelers. :cool: Our dates are penned in, as opposed to being penciled in :smile: for the 2nd week of June 2006. It's back to POR, party of 9, maybe 10 this time, by when do y'all think we should make the ressie? No Later Than?

Thanks! Seems like a strange way for them to do it. Woulda thought they'd split the rate based on the actual days of the booking, as opposed to when the trip started.

When are the dates for the subject seasons typically announced? What if a trip overlaps from one to the other? I'd imagine the package price would reflect, right?

Re: ...Asked and answered on another thread. It's free! So, we'd actually be spending more if we handled it ourselves and used Tiffany. So, my next question would be...What have wait times been like @ MCO. Perusing the boards, I've seen wait times can be almost an hour until the bus departs.

Our Vote Is... ...No, you can't. We had the unfortunate luck to ride it with all the lights on the last time we were there. :( They had to shut it down as soon as our run was over. Anyway, we appeared to have plenty of clearance overhead, that would have made it awfully hard, if not...
