I had Jim Hill on my podcast the other day to talk about the history of Fantasmic. And he mentioned on the show Don Dorsey's plan was originally to do a Haunted Mansion themed show on Rivers of America. And here is the concept art. What do you think of this, would it of been too scary for kids...

UPDATE. I had no problem bringing a gimbal in to any of the parks. As long as it doesn't extend you will have no problem.

A gimbal is a device that stabilizes your camera check it out here, that is the same one I have in this video

I was thinking about taking my GoPro camera this trip, and just recently bought a 9 inch gimbal. Does Disney allow them inside the parks? It doesn't extend so were not it selfie stick territory. If anyone knows, I'd love an answer. Thanks.

To piggy back on that comment. A cast member at One Mans Dream told a child that the Mystic Manor model was Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. No cast members are not always right. lol

AHHHH yes the Multi Plane camera. They also used that in the short the Old Mill. Very cool and realistic effect.

I think a resort in Brazil would be a good move. Large population and decent weather and lots of tourists.

Has anyone tried the Boathouse yet? If so, any recommendations? I am very excited to try this new place, and I wanna make sure I dont miss something awesome!

I dont think Walt's idea for a city would of been feasible. I have watched the epcot video 100's of times, Im watching it now actually, I just dont see it being a realistic option. That being said, I am a stand up comedian, not Walt, so what do I know.

I think they do a great job from what I have seen at the Walt Disney Family Museum of honoring Walt's legacy. I also think Walt wouldnt of wanted a museum of himself in the first place.
