Ever had an accident at WDW?

My wife got bit by a squirrel by the pool at Coronado Springs. A lot of bleeding. The life guards didn't even have a band-aid. I had to go the front desk to get one. They didn't seem overly concerned about the whole thing. Cheers!!!!!

    Coronado worth it?

CSR is our go to resort. We have done the values and POFQ and like CSR the best. The fact that it is a convention resort seems to make the morning buses less crowded. We almost always have great bus service and the transportation time to the parks is short. Looking forward to staying there again...

Is Park Hopper Worth the Extra Cost?

We always get Park Hoppers. We like the freedom it gives us to rope drop in the morning then hop to a less crowded park in the afternoon then maybe fireworks at MK or dinner at EPCOT or Pandora at night. We sometimes take a midday break at the resort and decide where to go after swimming and...

    Are you a 'waver'?

Being from south Louisiana I'm a waver at all times. At Disney and at home, driving or walking, standing in the yard at passing cars, just about everywhere. I am also a line and bus chatter when at Disney. I love to find out where people are from and how their vacation is going. I have met some...

    Ethics / Loopholes

It really amazes me that the lengths some people will go to to scam the system for a few extra FP+. I don't mind playing by the rules, reserving the FP+ I can when I can and making my ADRs for where I want to eat and cancelling them if my plans change. I guess some people like to feel like they...

Dumbest Thing You've Heard a Guest Say

Several years ago a woman got on the Magic Kingdom bus at POFQ and once we on our way she asked the driver when we will get to Universal Studios. He explained several times that these buses do not go to US only to Disney Parks. She stood there and argued with him saying someone at the resort...

    Which moderate resort

Just my opinion but we really like Coronado Springs. The resort is beautiful to walk around with the different sections having their own charm. The lake at night with the reflections of the light on the buildings is very nice. Also, it has a great main pool area and good quiet pools. Cheers!!!!!

Override/Bypass AC motion control at Pop Century

Last year at the Coronado Springs Resort we did not have the problem of our A/C shutting off either while we were out or while we slept. We always came back to a cool room and sometimes at night we had to raise the thermostat because my family was freezing. We didn't do anything special. We were...

    What's your "Go To" Souvenir?

We always all get t-shirts. Last trip was Pandora. Also, a fridge magnet preferably with the year on it, but sometimes we have to write the year on it. My daughter usually tries to get something with Stitch on it. She's crazy about Stitch. Cheers!!!!!

    Choosing a Moderate Resort

We love Coronado Springs even with the construction. It didn't affect our last stay (5-27-17) at all. We were in Ranchos section which was close to the main pool and right next to a quiet pool. We don't mind the walk to the lobby. We don't go there that often. We had great bus service to all of...

    Port Orleans - Your Thoughts

For the two of you I would whole-heartedly recommend POFQ. As has been said before it is the smallest resort. It has only one bus stop and usually a more adult clientele. The boat to Disney Springs can eliminate any worries about restaurants. My wife and I found it to be quite cozy and romantic...

When is your favorite time of the day in the parks?

Magic Kingdom in the late evening. Once the crowds start to thin out we sit and relax in the hub area and watch the castle. It's so peaceful. EPCOT at sunset. The colors of the sky around the World Showcase and on Spaceship Earth are beautiful. Hollywood Studios at night. The neon on Sunset...

    Favorite bad attraction

While I don't think that there are any "Bad" attractions at WDW, I did not care for Sticth's Great Escape. I also am not thrilled with the new Soarin' film (too much CGI). Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover

We too still call it the WEDway. And we ride it multiple times every trip. The linear induction propulsion system is pretty cool to me. We love it. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    C'mon Disney

I wonder if Disney informed all of the people staying at those resort about the parking lot closure. When we drive to Disney, we park the car and do not use it again until we are ready to leave. If I didn't see the sign about moving my car and it got "removed" for me I would be plenty mad. Also...
