Agreed that the language very much suggests cruises to nowhere. Very much an emphasis on magic days at sea. Plural. Elsewhere Disney uses the singular like "Pixar Day at Sea".

Given how much DCL concentrates on the Bahamas, in order for DCL to actually branch out a bit, it seems they'd need 15+ ships. Which I don't think they'll ever hit. So I don't believe they'll ever have a 2nd ship in the region.

Right, that's only crappy data point from the suburbs, but I thought more families were switching to buying tickets in advance because they didn't want to get stuck with crappy seats.

I'm not sure I buy the pre-sales info. My local theater shows % sold for each showing, and vast majority of screenings still have no advance ticket sales. One showing at 41% during the "$5 Tuesdays", otherwise only a handful of screenings 20%+ sold. Seems similar to the numbers I saw for Wish.

100% this. Everyone can see that this movie didn't have to be bad, and it's so clear that poor leadership was to blame. Watching this again on the "small screen" on Disney+ and I dislike this so much more now than I did in the theater. At least in the theater, I could appreciate some of the art...

That's us right now. Canceled all our streaming services since we're gone most often than we're home this month. Kids can get by with Amazon, PBS, etc. for a few days.

And perhaps counterintuitively, cutting out a ton of process, rewrites, reshoots, etc. will not only drive down costs but potentially improve quality. Disney may have too many cooks in the kitchen, stifling young talent. If I were an exec in the Disney Animation space, I would try to understand...
