Oh man...this has been driving me crazy for years. Without a clean audio, that narration is becoming almost as familiar as the guitar piece itself. "Here at Epcot, we're learning to reduce the need for pesticides by using natural predators..."

I'd applaud this for sure, though somehow I think it won't happen. Still, if the above rumor is correct (and even if there is no historical throwback a la WoM), this would appear to be a major step in the right direction for the attraction and a remedy for what's always been its biggest...

I have learned that one should never get ahead of oneself when something goes right at Epcot. I am aware that this paint job guarantees nothing--that the fact that someone budgeted a (relatively) tiny amount of money to re-paint the fugly legs may have nothing to do with the much, much more...

A quick two cents re: Tron naysayers (and forgive me if the point has been made already)--I wouldn't rule out this rumor based solely on the perception that the film "wasn't a hit". First of all, that perception is problematic to begin with. "Tron: Legacy" has done very respectable business...

The concept...eh. I'm not thrilled about having to see the platform from the ride, but I don't out-and-out hate it. I'm sure it will be themed tastefully enough that I won't mind it. The concept ART, on the other hand...that's the real tragedy here. I know this is a relatively minor press...
