In some ways, even though inside is awesome, we prefer sitting outside on the patio, especially if it's a beautiful night and you time it right with the live ukulele player.

I would consider attending the Food & Wine Festival on Friday right when it starts at 11am. Also, over at Trader Sam's at the Polynesian, they have a Kona Beer Flight. If the wait for inside is too long, you can sit on the patio.

The menu and overall kitchen layout needs to be totally overhauled in my opinion. I love the Grand Floridian Resort, but in terms of monorail counter service restaurants, Capt. Cook's and Contempo Cafe blow the current Gasparilla Grill out of the water. A complete menu and kitchen overhaul is...

I've run four Disney half marathons and one Disney full marathon, all solo except my first half, and had a blast each and every time. The atmosphere pre-race, during the race and post-race is so exciting and energetic, that I think you'll love it either way.

As mentioned, there are no running trails at AKL. However, I've used the gyms at Jambo House and Kidani Village and both are very good. I've done a lot of early morning runs at the gym at Kidani Village especially and love it as I've had the place pretty much to myself each and every time...
