EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I don't really get the opening date as it relates to the speed of work. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was about this far along and opened a year later.

PHOTO - First look at the near complete Prince Eric's Castle in the new Fantasyland

Individual ride ticketing stopped in ... 1982? It's a cool new dark ride. Why are we complaining about it having an elaborate facade?

Rumors of OZ at DL... any rumors for WDW

hahaha... wow! They will never build an Oz. That would draw such low attendance when held against a franchise like Harry Potter. A Wizard of Oz Land would have been fantastic in 1955 when the park originally opened... But now? "Oz the Great and Powerful", due out in 2013 is all but a guaranteed...

    Campground Discounts and Dining Plan

I am 99% sure you cannot get free dining with a campsite and the same discounts do not apply to the sites as are offered at the other resorts. The free dining offers coordinate with the tier of resort you are staying at, value, moderate ect... the campground fits none of those categories and...

    Ratatouille dark ride concept

This sounds more realistic. Thanks for the update.

    Ratatouille dark ride concept

Anyone else think $212 million is a tad much for a dark ride? And when I say a tad I mean like ten times what the budget should probably be? Mission: Space had a $100 million as did Expedition Everest. This has to be a misprint or mistake.

    Transportation Number?

Any VP that wants to keep their job more than a year sure as heck better read their own email. You really think the VP of transportation is that much of a big shot? He may not reply to your email... but unless VP's at Disney suddenly started becoming billionaires I'd be willing to bet he is a...

When is Disney Opening up their new hotels?

Right, I wasn't meaning to imply that Disney owns the land. But the land is right smack dab in the middle of Disney property. It's not on the outskirts or anything - it's right on Bay Lake. As for the 1.5 million+ homes, I assume that was a joke. But I think it's pretty clear that I meant the...

When is Disney Opening up their new hotels?

The Four Seasons resort planned will be on Disney property and will be relatively close to the parks. North of EPCOT and SE of Magic Kingdom. At this point it is still a proposed project I believe. It is part of Disney's Golden Oaks development which is 1.5 million+ private homes in a...

    Le Cellier Walk Up

I have never had an issue walking up to Le Cellier any time of the year. As long as you are there when they open for lunch. If you are standing at the desk when the hostess gets there you will almost always get a table without waiting.

    Does deluxe snob=signature snob?

Most of the meals I ate at Disney were just as good a value as anything I got outside the parks. The quality and service is consistently good at their dining locations and the only places you are getting a bad deal for food is when you are eating character buffets. Do not go to a character...

Tips on Getting Into Garden Grill?

You can eat just about anywhere without reservations provided you get there when they open for the meal you are going for.

What's the deal with Nine Dragons?

I found it to be a great bargain for lunch with Table in Wonderland. Without it's still a pretty good deal for lunch. The food was good I though - nothing spectacular but good enough.

    Cheapest/shortest wdw vaca ideas

My wife and I did a week in Disney for $1000 including a condo rental, food and the drive down. We had annual passes and saved a little on food using tables in wonderland, both of which we bought on our previous trip. That was the cheapest trip I could possibly imagine - and to be honest, it...

    Smaller Cheaper Meals

My wife and I did a trip recently where we budgeted just $250 for food for 7 days. It wasn't the greatest vacation we ever had, but it was thrown together quick and on a tight budget so we made it work - some of what we found: Earl of Sandwich is the best deal on property. All their sandwiches...
