Proposed Concept Art: Newport Bay Re-Do

I'll add my opinions on the above are based on their merit alone - I haven't stayed at the Newport Bay Club as an adult (and a childhood memory is hazy at best). I'll admit that I am somewhat taken aback by the opposition to the retheme - it's current theme has never really piqued my interest...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

I think its fair to say that Option 1 would look very familiar to those that know the Newport Bay Club now (and it undoubtably fits the architectural style of the building better too). Not sure my summary explained the IP stuff very well, so i'll clarify. I felt that overall, there was less IP...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

Unsure whether this warranted a new thread, but... Completed a Disneyland Paris Survey this evening regarding themes for a refurbishment of Newport Bay Club Hotel. 2 main themes on offer: Mickey & the Gang - Seaside Promenade A 'day at the beach' colour palette in a sort of 1900 beach style -...

Disney Passes on Bluey Theme Park Rights?

Alton Towers, in the UK (my local park) has a C(hildrens)BBC Land, with a Bluey kids coaster set to open in Spring 2026. Could this have anything to do with the lack of Bluey in US Parks?

    How is the Polynesian now?

What's the Aotearoa building like now due to the proximity of the Cove Pool area. Playing around with the touring plans images / room selector for our trip in May and unsure whether it still is as 'idyllic' as it looks due to the Tower / new Pool. We're a standard view, so know our choices of...

Lightning Lane Park Changes (& the problems toddlers bring?)

We are looking forward to seeing the Park(s) through a Toddlers eyes - having been lucky enough to visit them as adults without a child in-tow. We did sneak a trip in to Animal Kingdom in 2023, so managed to ride Flight of Passage (which we loved). If we're being honest, our main aims as...

Personal Opinions on Toddler Friendly Resorts

Hi all, Starting to plan our first trip to WDW, from the UK, as a family. At the time we plan to travel (May time), our additional passenger will have just turned 2. We're fully aware that travelling with a toddler presents different challenges but we're looking forward to visiting (properly)...

Lightning Lane Park Changes (& the problems toddlers bring?)

You are right, but it needs a shift in mentality from previous visits! Suspect we'll book a few days up and go with the flow for the rest of the trip. As long as we're prepared for limited availability if we do decide to add on a LL it's not so much of a problem.

Lightning Lane Park Changes (& the problems toddlers bring?)

Thank you, that's really helpful, agree that my post was a bit ambiguous. We're planning on visiting in late April / early May, ideally. Fairly accepting that we wont be hitting the 'big rides' regularly with a toddler and trying to make it as relaxing as possible. I think I knew the answer to...

Lightning Lane Park Changes (& the problems toddlers bring?)

Hi all, Apologies if this specific question has been asked before - though I couldn't find the answer through the search. Planning on travelling to WDW next year. This will be our first visit since 2017 (Fast pass+ days?) - and the first with a young child. I understand that you can purchase...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

From my position in front of Walt's statue it was stunning. Crowd loved it (though I imagine new shows attract crowds that will, by default). Thought the music, projections and pyro were a giant middle finger to Universal, personally. Loved it.
