There is nothing in that movie that would suggest either character had romantic feelings for the other. Especially since they're being raised as siblings by the end.

Frozen II is a continuation of Frozen where Anna already had a love interest. Even then, the focus is not on the love story but on Elsa who remains forever single. Live-action remakes don't count but the press for the movie is already trying to change the narrative that Ariel's dreams do not...

I definitely agree with the 40%. The fact that Disney is a punchline even to an Argentinian (football?) team shows what the world really thinks of Disney product now. I also didn't see any marketing for this movie at all. I saw promos for Lightyear and Turning Red everywhere. Those are Pixar...
