I spoke to a cast member because at the time I hadn't received any notice about magicbands. She said that if you don't get the option to customize your own and have them sent to you, you would receive standard gray bands upon arrival at the resort. Hope that helps!

Look what I got!!! Magicbands coming tomorrow!!!

If I remember correctly it was about 50 days out. They do give you 2 weeks to decide on how you want to customize the bands and then they ship them. So give yourself enough time. Of you don't customize them you get gray ones when you check in at the resort.

I found that once I checked in I was able to customize our magicbands. This option was not available until I did that, so I'm glad I did.

Get the dining plan and make dinner reservations at a bunch of nice restaurants! My fiancé and I will be honeymooning in wdw in 35 days, and that's what I'm looking most forward to! Make reservations for dining 180 days from your trip or else it's tricky to get the ones you want. Congrats!

I don't believe you can pick a specific room. I had trouble even getting an ADR. But when I did finally get in there was no option for a specific room.

I couldn't take advantage of a single discount... Not one! Which I'm so bummed about. But, on the bright side.... I'm all paid off!! Woo!!

Update: Checked dining reservations today randomly and scored a reservation for Be Our Guest on the 17th before MNSSHP!!! Exciting :)
