That's why it was still not that great of a change! I am not complaining. As a first year teacher I was happy. But for those teachers who have years under their belt, it was a slap in the face. It could have been done differently.

Out of curiosity, do you pay for rent or own a home? I also taught in Miami and the raise was great, yes, but it's still not enough. I lived with my parents and the paycheck was great, of course. I was able to pay for my car insurance, buy great clothes, etc. But I didn't own a home or pay rent...

Quite honestly, all the parks are within short distances of each other. I wouldn't suggest this, especially with the transportation readily available at WDW. If you think you will be visiting MK the most, then maybe a MK resort will be best because of the monorail. But I think you will be safe...

I enjoy the Official WDW podcast. It's not updated as often as I'd like. But I don't mind it because I don't usually have the time to listen to as often as I'd like either. I really enjoy their video podcasts a lot. I also like WDW Radio Show. :)
