How exactly does rider switch with kids work?

How it's normally worked in my experience: 1: Visit cast member at the entrance to the stand-by line. All party members, including the little one, must be present. They will give you a rider swap fast pass. 2: In most situations, one parent will wait in the Standy-By line (or in the FastPass...

Best quick Breakfast in Boardwalk area?

Our last trip we stayed at the Dolphin and hit up Boardwalk Bakery on our way to walk to Epcot. Pretty quick in and out, decent food for counter service. We ate at one of the small tables on the Boardwalk. Great time!

Question: Do Swan and Dolphin feature Disney Hotel services like EMH?

Gotta agree. Awesome hotel! We stayed at the Dolphin about 10 days ago, it was fantastic. You do get EMH, as well as Disney Transportation via bus and Friendship boat.

    Driving from Nashville

We just drove from Atlanta to the WDW Dolphin last weekend. Our GPS routed us off the Florida's Turnpike to 429, then East on Western Way, then East on Buena Vista Drive. One more turn North on World Drive for you would also get you to your destination (Contemporary Resort?), but but does seem...

How young is too young to take your kid to Disney?

We took ours at 6 months old, no issues. You just have to recognize that while in the parks, you are on the baby's schedule and not your own. If you plan with that in mind, everything will be just fine. :)

    tell me about the boardwalk..

It's also very easy to drive up to Boardwalk. Just tell the gate guard you'd like to explore it, do some shopping, etc. I've never had a problem getting in.

Traveling with 9 Month Old (General Questions)

We did this with our daughter when she was 6 months old. Thougts: I am of the opinion that you should always have your own car. Relying on Disney Transportation is convenient, but unreliable. For example, we thought it would be a nice change of pace to take the boat transportation roundtrip...

    8 month old and Epcot

We took our daughter at 6 months, she rode pretty much anything that didn't have a height requirement. She absolutely loved Gran Fiesta Tour - it was easily her favorite based on her expressions and level of interest for the ride!

No car staying in off-site hotels

I recommend having a car - your own or a rented vehicle - regardless of if you are staying on property or off property. WDW Transportation is inefficient in general.

Need some advice on where to stay with baby?

We took our daughter when she was 6 months old and stayed at POFQ for 8 days / 7 nights. If you rent a car or bring your own car (which, IMHO, is a necessity at WDW, regardless of where you are staying), you should have no issues at all with transportation, regardless of which resort you choose...

How is the food court at POFQ?

The POFQ food court is ok. It is definately one of the smaller food courts - maybe the smallest - in the WDW resort hotels. That said, breakfast variety is good, and hey, who can say no to bignets? Lunch and dinner tend to get old there after a few days.

What year was Disney World at it's peak?

Gotta agree with everyone here. 1994-1995 was the "Golden Age" of WDW. This was an age of originality. Tomomrrowland was unique and cohesive. Main Street USA was relevant - Center Street still existed. There were trees in the Hub. Epcot was in it's prime, with all of the original attractions in...
