As of two years ago, I never ran a race. But on Saturday I will be doing my first half and have scheduled a full for 2012. You are not crazy, once you start the training you will be surprised at your own accomplishments. Good Luck

I am still disappointed. Because of the running events, we don't have any way to be there early (for the show) or late (for the fireworks). Maybe they should have held the race on a different day. :shrug:

We ran the tower of terror race and even though we stayed on site, we drove to the race. Got there two hours early. No problem parking or finding the race.

We are actually working on that angle. While we don't have anyone to go with us, friends of ours are running the same race and bringing grandma. Grandma has watched our kids in the past, but our friends are not 100% reliable planners.
