Here at Sports I don’t see any damage, just lots of leaves and small branches. The cleanup crew is hard at work on the main pool, so I expect they reopen that soon.

I see the stay in your room message at 8.30 on our All Star Sports tv (we where in the room by 7 or so). I can hear the wind is increasing now outside.

I am at All Star Sports now and they are handling it very well. The store is still open and the food court still serves all the hot food. Can confirm the arcade games are free which is great. Lots of cast members everywhere.

Interesting to see the biggest theme park in The Netherlands (Efteling) and Germany (Europa Park) are opening this month! Efteling on May 20th and Europa Park on May 29th. Of course you need to reserve your visit in advance.

I saw this show 5 times on our last trip and loved it! Lots of creative use of fireworks and while I always thought the middle part of Illuminations with the globe was a bit boring this show doesn't have any boring parts in it. I am kind of sad it's only running for so short, I would have liked...

I think with the cutting of Burudika, drink sales at the Dawa bar and drink and snack sales Tamu Tamu will go way down. You would expect the band would pay for itself just on drink sales.

They didn’t mention an opening date, but at least it’s an official confirmation that it’s opening this year.

According to a new post on the Disney Parks Blog ROTR will open later this year at DHS and Disneyland.

I hope they don't cut the great band playing at the UK pavilion. That's one thing I really love about Epcot, the music bands and the UK band is one of the best.

I know, I have an annual pass to the Efteling. It's still a very regional park though, with most visitors coming from Holland. Universal would be a park which would pull visitors from all over Europe. Also I don't think a lot of people visiting Amsterdam would also visit the Efteling since it's...

Parc Asterix is an ok park, I have visited it multiple times. It gets around 2,5 million visitors a year. But I don't think it has the pull of Universal. Maybe Parc Asterix also gets visitors who visit Disneyland Paris and visa versa, I'm just saying multiple theme parks in the same area could...

Or another good spot for an European Universal park would be Amsterdam. It has one of the biggest airports in Europe, and Amsterdam is a very touristy city already. Also it's a very international city, so it wouldn't be a problem to have English be the main language in a Universal park there...

If Universal would build a park in Europe, why not in the Paris region? Then you might get the Orlando effect, where people would visit that region for a week and visit both Universal and Disney parks and the parks could benefit from each other, both pulling more visitors in the region.

DLP is always much busier on weekends then weekdays, so I would recommend the weekdays.
