Spain Pavilion not a major attraction

new pavilion although i'm sure that spain would make a wonderful pavilion, i would like to see ANY new country be introduced. the last new permanent attraction of mention in WS was Maelstrom, and it has to be approaching 10 years of age. It really is one of the prettiest areas in all of WDW...

    Dsiney World's Best Kept Secret

Well put... I was thinking that myself. In all our rush to focus on the big attractions and news, we tend to overlook the small things that make WDW what it is. It is one of the only places in the world where you can have a memory of an event, and go back and have everything almost exactly as it...

    Dsiney World's Best Kept Secret

DWWS DWWS.... I'm guessing Wide World of Sports? But do you mean at the All-Star Cafe (which is somewhat of a secret in and of itself, most people don't know it exists) or just there in general?

Do you think Disney should put a TTA-type ride in the other parks?

BTW - sorry for the 'drift... if there are anymore rod questions (huh huh, I said rod...) just start another thread in the DL section. thanks

Do you think Disney should put a TTA-type ride in the other parks?

FYI: The Rocket Rods were supposed to be a high-speed thrill attraction that used the peoplemover track and supports. It went 60? MPH at some points, but was constantly broke down due to many issues - such as having no banking on the turns (sharp corners @ high speeds = not so good for...

Do you think Disney should put a TTA-type ride in the other parks?

Ah the rocket rods - responsible for wasting 2 hours of my time during my one trip to DL for a lousy 3-5 min ride... I definitely would feel cheated if DL were my "home park." anyway, if they were going to put another peoplemover attraction in anywhere in WDW, why not Downtown Disney?? You...

    During Night or Day!!!

no contest nighttime, no contest for me. you get to see all of the great theming PLUS the incredible moods created by the lighting designers... I mean, why do you think it's always NIGHT inside the mexico pavillion... it's just more romantic, i think. I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff.

    So, Where to Eat?

no go for lunch... unfortunately no, the 'fish doesn't do lunch - I think they begin seating @ 5:00. I'm hoping to try the Illuminations @ rose & crown as well when I go in about a month (provided I find a travelling buddy - otherwise I may have to wait :( )

    So, Where to Eat?

Akira, and this goes for westie as well, you should try out the Flying Fish on the boardwalk. One of the best meals I've ever had period - not just @ wdw, and the best service I've had @ wdw. Excellent wine list, it's on the boardwalk just past spoodles (if you're coming from EPCOT)...

    Swan and Dolphin Hotel

the hotels... You may not like the theming of the hotels, and they do "stick out" amongst the rest of the background in WDW, but their architecture is top-notch. They were designed by Michael Graves, the same designer/architect that did the new studio HQ (the one that everyone seems to...

    Disney Restaurant's

Re: Disney Turkey Legs! Right, and that's why places like Victoria and Albert's wins National awards, and why the Flying Fish and California Grill have both been in Wine Spectator's Fine Dining section... why, I had no idea Wolfgang Puck sushi was "junk food"!

    Swan and Dolphin Hotel

Bus to MK Actually, I have stayed there several times in the past and if you are heading to MK during late morning or afternoon and have a hopper pass you can do what I did and walk through EPCOT to ride the monorail over! This is prolly a way bigger hassle than actually taking the bus...

    ice cream shop?

A good lunch... Actually, my fav. is the ice cream cookie sandwich! If you get one from a cart or most of the other places @ WDW, you get a pre-made job. But at the bakery in the MK, they go get a fresh scoop (or two? can't remember) and smash it inbetween two fresh cookies... it's messy...
