We were at the Explorers Lodge in 2019 and it was great and compared to the other Disney Hotels in NA and Europe a steal. It was like 150USD/n pretty good deal for a Disney hotel

The no LCD screen part is hard to do nowadays (my cellphone is my only camera besides a tiny but nice magnet mounted insta 360 go2), but I make double certain that I set my screen brightness to minimum and sit in the last row (e.g. American Adventure or HOP) .. Courtesy is a dying thing sadly

I understand the backstory..my issue was just with the way he annunciated the words WITH vs YOU if he had tagged the dino (Aladar) in a previous trip, otherwise he would come WITH the chosen tour group (so we have an excuse just to hear the prerecorded voice vs. actually him in the time rover)...
